Mayor Marco Aurelio Pérez Sánchez has issued six proclamations informing the residents of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and its visitors of the closure of the streets in the municipality that will be subject to road surface and asphalt rehabilitation works, and in which the circulation and parking of vehicles will be prohibited.
In that regard, during this Monday and tomorrow Tuesday, Oceania Street will be closed to traffic due to resurfacing work in the section between Oasis Avenue and the taxi stand, and the area of the roundabout that links Touroperador Neckermann Avenue with Air Marín Avenue in Campo Internacional.
This Tuesday, traffic and parking will also be prohibited between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Mar de Siberia Street due to road rehabilitation work near the San Rogue Meloneras Hospital, heading towards the Maspalomas Lighthouse. This same prohibition will be in effect tomorrow, Tuesday, and on Wednesday, the 3rd, due to roadworks on Avenida Cristóbal Colón, specifically at the roundabout that connects with Príncipe de Asturias Street/Promenade, which provides access to the Expomeloneras Convention Center.
In addition, the Panama street in El Tablero is scheduled to be closed this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday due to resurfacing work that will be carried out on the section between Paraguay street and Barranco Avenue.
A decree has also been issued for the closure of Secundino Delgado Street on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of this week, and on Tuesday, December 9th, due to the asphalt works that will be carried out along the entire road, from its beginning at the roundabout of Avenida Alejandro del Castillo with Islas Canarias Street, to its end at the roundabout that connects with Alcalde José Yánez Matos Street.
In these announcements, the mayor requests the active collaboration of the citizens to minimize the possible problems that the closure of the streets could cause to road traffic, and recommends compliance with the instructions, signage and indications made in this regard by the Local Police and construction workers.
