Three arrested in an operation that began several months ago

Agents of the National Police have dismantled a drug-dealing hotspot located in El Tablero, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, after completing an investigation carried out by the Narcotics Group of the Local Police Station of Maspalomas.
The investigation began after numerous complaints from neighbors received during the last few months, in which residents reported a constant flow of people to a home in the neighborhood, as well as violent episodes involving its residents, which was generating increasing social alarm in the area.
Discreet surveillance and police actions confirmed that the property functioned as an operations center for the distribution of narcotics, and was also used to hide, handle and prepare drugs for sale.
In the early hours of November 24, and in compliance with a court order for entry and search, the agents entered the home, where they proceeded to arrest three people, two men and a woman, who were inside.
During the search, the agents seized cocaine, methamphetamine, hashish and marijuana, as well as various bladed weapons, material intended for the dosage and weighing of the drug and multiple objects whose origin could be illicit.
With this police action, the National Police respond to the existing neighborhood discontent in El Tablero and dismantle a drug sales point that had been directly affecting the safety and coexistence of the neighborhood.
The detainees were taken to police headquarters and, once the proceedings were completed, brought before the court.
