AMFM Vending transforms into Arbitrade: Southern Gran Canaria promotes national integration

Gara Hernández - M24h Wednesday, December 03, 2025

AMFM Vending, based in southern Gran Canaria, has officially begun a new phase in its market strategy by becoming Arbitrade Canarias. With this integration, the company is fully consolidated within the structure of Arbitrade, a leading operator in the unattended food vending sector in Spain, after years of collaboration within the business group.

The rebranding is a strategic step that underscores the strength of the local operator within a national context. The company maintains its established structure, which includes more than 100 professionals distributed across its various offices in the islands. Furthermore, service will remain unaffected for its more than 600 clients, among them key entities such as the Canary Islands Health Service in the south of the island, Aena Gran Canaria airport, and a significant portfolio of companies in the tourism sector that rely on its operational capacity and quality.

Arbitrade Canarias remains the vending operator with the largest presence in the region, managing a total of 1.035 hot beverage outlets and 1.093 snack outlets. A key element of its market differentiation is its strong commitment to local products, especially its own brewed coffee, which has become a true hallmark of the islands. The company was also a pioneer in introducing smartshop services to the archipelago.

For Javier Arquerons, CEO of Arbitrade, this integration is a move consistent with the group's organic growth. "This rebranding is a natural step in our aim to consolidate a strong and unified identity throughout the region. Arbitrade Canarias represents the union between AMFM's local expertise and deep knowledge, and the strength of a national group committed to quality, innovation, and people," Arquerons stated.

For his part, Raúl Rubio, CEO of Arbitrade Canarias, stated that the new identity "propels us toward the future with a group that shares our values and our approach to service." He concluded with a message of continuity for their clients: "We remain the same, with the same passion and the same commitment as always."
