According to the official forecast from AEMET Canarias, the south of Gran Canaria faces the week of December 7-14, 2025, marked by the presence of haze, moderate winds, and a gradual rise in temperatures.
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET Canarias) forecasts the influence of a Saharan air mass for this period, which will favor the presence of haze in the south of Gran Canaria, with generally clear or partly cloudy skies and a temporary reduction in visibility depending on the concentration of suspended dust.
The wind will blow from the east and southeast, with moderate intensity and possible stronger gusts in the midlands and high areas of the south of the island, especially during the middle hours of the day.
Regarding temperatures, a gradual rise is expected throughout the week, with mild values along the southern coast of Gran Canaria, where highs could reach around 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. AEMET (the Spanish State Meteorological Agency) recommends that people with respiratory problems take extra precautions and limit prolonged outdoor activities during periods of high haze.
