A reader has reported to this publication a new incident of alleged animal abuse in a cat colony located opposite the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa
According to information received by our newsroom, a new mass poisoning of cats has occurred in recent days in the colony located across from the Radisson Blu hotel complex, where numerous felines, both adults and kittens, were found dead or in critical condition. An abandoned bottle of antifreeze, a highly toxic substance for animals, was found near the bodies.
The reader, who had previously alerted authorities about similar incidents, expressed her dismay and outrage at this new episode, calling it a despicable act of cruelty against animals and requesting that the incident be made public in order to try to stop this type of practice and raise awareness among the population.
This publication reiterates that poisoning animals is a criminal offense, as well as a serious administrative violation of animal protection regulations.
