Infecar has prepared a wide range of activities for the whole family, including workshops, shows and outdoor attractions
The popular YouTuber and founder of Los Compas, Invictor, will accompany the children on January 3rd and 4th.
Planeta Gran Canaria returns on December 26th to Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, to celebrate one of its most special editions: this year, the most fun family gathering of Christmas celebrates its 25th anniversary and does so full of surprises and new features, but with the same enthusiasm as always.
For nine days – until January 4th – the island's families will be able to meet again in this space specially designed for children, which, once again, transports boys and girls to a planet full of fun activities that will make them experience many adventures.
This is a fair that “not only allows us to share with all the families of the island, but also offers the youngest children educational leisure activities throughout the Christmas period,” said the Councilor for Economic Development, Industry, Commerce and Crafts, Minerva Alonso, during her presentation.
Some of those children, from the La Feria neighborhood in the capital, attended today's presentation of Planeta Gran Canaria, which was also attended by Amaya Peñate, from the DISA Foundation; Pablo Sabalza Ortiz-Roldán, from El Corte Inglés; and Alejandra Cordero, from Fred. Olsen Express, as sponsors of the event.
A space for planets
As in previous years, the activities will be spread across different planets. On Planet Challenge, the activities and attractions will take place in the outdoor areas of the venue: trampolines, an obstacle course, paintball, total football, flying structures, super jumping, bumper cars… the most exciting challenges.
The Planet of Light and Color will offer several shows at the Congress Palace. At certain times of the day, children can enjoy the musical family theater production 'Around the World', the street performance 'The Magic Book of Stories', or the family theater production of the same name, as well as the family concert 'Super Grandma: With Love Everything Is Better'.
Hall 5 at Infecar will host Planet Fun, featuring a wide range of educational and entertaining activities, from slime and Christmas dessert workshops to board games and inflatables. These activities will be complemented by equally fun events taking place on the ground floor of Hall 7: an Island Songbook workshop and an amateur radio workshop, a escape room Organized by the DISA Foundation, there will be more inflatables for the little ones. In the upper area of the same pavilion, other attractions will be set up, such as a bike circuit and a giant games area, and it will also host workshops on puppetry, face painting, lettering, hama beads, and character making. All of this will be enlivened by the show 'The Wacky Helpers'.
Finally, pavilion 6 will host the most digital activities, with video games, the Las Palmas Unity competitions and SIM Racing.
And so that all children can enjoy all the activities without limits, Infecar will adapt these experiences to meet the needs of children who require special attention: the lights will be dimmed at certain times and there will be special and priority access, special seating and sign language for those who require it.
The fair will also feature rest and dining areas, with two cafes and more than a dozen food trucks. Food will be available for families from 10:00 AM to 20:30 PM, allowing them to make the most of the event.
Planeta Gran Canaria will be open from December 26th to January 4th from 10:00 to 20:30, except for December 31st, when it will be closed, and January 1st, when it will only be open in the afternoon, from 16:00 to 20:30.
Tickets are now available on the website https://planetagrancanaria.es/ Tickets, priced at €5 per person, grant access to the fair and all activities and shows, except for the special performance by YouTuber Invictor. If you wish to attend this performance as well, the individual price is €6,50. Infecar also offers special prices for packages of 4 tickets at €16,00 (€4,00 per ticket); or for 10 or more tickets, in which case the price is €3,50 per ticket. Furthermore, pensioners, retirees, certified unemployed individuals, children under 3, and people with disabilities can attend the event free of charge.
