The numerous and eye-catching attractions of the World Christmases, installed in the grounds of the South Urban Park, are becoming a real attraction and meeting point for many families and couples from the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and also from the rest of the Island every afternoon between 17:00 pm and 21:00 pm.
The massive occupancy of the parking lots near the large leisure complex, both those behind the Health Center, as well as those of the Courts, Tax Office, Hecansa and the football fields of the Maspalomas Sports City, testify to the great interest that the Christmas lights are generating and, above all, the activities of the World Christmas cultural and recreational program that are being held daily within the Park.
This Monday morning, the World Christmas exhibit opened exclusively and for the first time to the elderly residents of the municipality, causing special and particular satisfaction to the users of the Maspalomas Day Center.
In this sense, and taking into account their different levels of dependency, the elderly enjoyed the activities that the Department led by Deputy Mayor Elena Álamo Vega and coordinated by Councilor Esther Delgado Sánchez dedicates in the afternoons to the youngest children, such as the Christmas Train that travels through the Park; the Christmas House, the Christmas of the World exhibition; the Star Corner; the Christmas craft workshops, the Lego Christmas play tent and, among others, a humorous performance.
