The event concludes this weekend after nine days of activities, workshops, attractions and shows for all ages
Super Grandma and content creator Invictor were the stars of the last two days of this fair, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
Planeta Gran Canaria is entering the final stretch of its 25th edition. More than 22.000 people have already visited this fair, promoted by the Gran Canaria Island Council and organized by Infecar, the Gran Canaria Trade Fair, to enjoy the program of activities designed for sharing quality time with family during the Christmas holidays.
Trampolines, paintball, football, super jumping, bumper cars, workshops and board games, street performances and theatre, bouncy castles, interactive games, escape room, puppets… The boys and girls who have already come to this emblematic fair have not wasted a minute running from attraction to attraction, painting their faces, playing, learning and, in between, resting and eating something in the food area provided in the venue to regain energy and continue enjoying.
Planeta Gran Canaria not only represents a fantastic opportunity for children to participate in activities that are not usually part of their daily lives; it also represents the perfect occasion to share time and fun with close family, cousins and friends, spending a few hours in a magical world full of wonder.
Families hop from one activity to another, encountering fantastical characters who stroll through the grounds and transport children to whimsical and fun worlds. And at certain times, the theatrical performances taking place in the Congress Palace offer a brief respite to the parents who patiently follow their children from attraction to attraction.
After a week packed with activities, the event is drawing to a close with a program that, year after year, has established itself as one of the main Christmas gathering places in Gran Canaria. During these final days, families can continue to enjoy the various themed areas of the fairgrounds, organized into planets, which combine outdoor activities, creative workshops, digital displays, and family shows. In addition, there are food and relaxation areas that allow visitors to spend the entire day at the fair, the most iconic Christmas event, which will close its doors next Sunday, January 4th. Until then, Planeta Gran Canaria will remain open from 10:00 a.m. to 20:30 p.m.
In addition to the exciting rides, entertaining workshops, and fun theater performances that already entice families on the island to enjoy the final days of this family fair, this closing weekend also offers a very special show: a performance by the popular content creator Invictor, taking place on January 3rd and 4th at 12:00 PM. The YouTuber, a role model for thousands of children, will present an action-packed, humorous, and interactive experience, sharing his stories with the young audience and fostering a love of reading.
At 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, the final family show of Supergrandma 'With love everything is better' will also take place, a concert to enjoy as a family, sing, dance and train your superpowers to the rhythm of pop, rock, rumba and other musical styles.
General admission tickets can still be purchased online https://planetagrancanaria.es/ Tickets can also be purchased at the venue's box office for €5 per person, or €6,50 if, in addition to enjoying the fair, you wish to attend the Invictor YouTuber show. As in previous years, Infecar offers discounts on ticket packages and free admission for certain groups, such as the unemployed, retirees, and people with disabilities, as well as children under 3.
Planeta Gran Canaria is an event promoted and financed by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and organized by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, which has as sponsors the DISA Foundation, El Corte Inglés, Fred Olsen Express and Dormitorum, and with Cajasiete as an official collaborator.
