The International Tourism Fair (Fitur) hosted the official presentation of the new stage facing one of the benchmark cycling events in Gran Canaria, Monte Feliz – powered by Playitas Desafío La Titánica 2026.

The presentation at Fitur underlines the strategic commitment to an event that combines sport, tourism and territorial promotion, and which in 2026 takes a step forward with a reinforced identity, a benchmark sponsorship and a route that turns every kilometer into a challenge and an invitation to discover the island by bicycle.

La first day, scheduled for Saturday April 11 with departure and arrival at the Auditorium of AgüimesThe proposed route covers 58 kilometers and 1.470 meters of elevation gain, serving as a showcase for the new format. The colorful peloton will wind its way into the southeastern interior of the island to tackle the ascent to Alto de Temisas and, subsequently, the demanding finish at Alto de Guayadeque, a first-category climb featuring steep ramps and stunning natural surroundings, making this stage a true test of endurance.
La second day, on Sunday April 12, will connect Agüimes with San Mateo The 78-kilometer race, with 2.300 meters of elevation gain, is structured into three timed sections that will define the course of the event. The route passes through some of the most iconic cycling locations on the island, featuring challenging climbs, gradients exceeding 18 and 20 percent, and a finish in the mid-altitude zone, reinforcing Gran Canaria's image as an ideal destination for elite cycling.
On this day, participants can choose between the long distance, which includes the three timed sections, and a short distance designed for those who wish to tackle only the first competitive sector, thus broadening the range of profiles and encouraging participation.
