The Public Prosecutor's Office has requested a trial before the Provincial Court of Las Palmas in a serious case of sexual exploitation and corruption of minors involving two individuals and a well-known establishment in the Cita Shopping Center in Playa del Inglés. The accusation is directed against GV, arrested in Germany, the manager of the LUX swingers club, and RCRA, the woman who allegedly procured the vulnerable young women.

The charges against the manager of the establishment are aggravated by the allegation that, on at least one occasion, GV had sexual relations with the minor in exchange for 50 euros, with the aim of satisfying his own sexual desires. The Public Prosecutor's Office is requesting a total of 11 years and 6 months in prison for GV, and 7 years and 6 months in prison for RCRA, in addition to requesting the permanent closure of the establishment. According to the indictment issued by the Court of Instruction No. 2 of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, the events date back to a period prior to March 18, 2024. The defendant, RCRA, contacted a minor (identified as AAM), who was in a situation of extreme vulnerability: she was under guardianship, without family support, and had run away from the foster care center.

RCRA allegedly conspired with GV to allow the latter to profit from the prostitution of others at the "LUX" establishment in Playa del Inglés. The prosecution maintains that GV was aware of the young woman's age and vulnerable situation. At least on March 18 and 19, 2024, GV allegedly instructed the minor on the schedule, the work area, and the clients with whom she was to have sex, forcing her to hand over the money she received for her services.

Both defendants have prior criminal records. GV, for example, was convicted in 2021 for assault and domestic abuse. Based on these offenses, the prosecution is now charging both of them with crimes related to prostitution and corruption of minors. The Public Prosecutor's Office has requested the maximum sentence and a series of security measures that go beyond imprisonment: closure of the establishment and a request that GV serve eight years of supervised release after his release from prison for the first offense and five years for the second. RCRA would also serve eight years of supervised release.

Both defendants face an 18-year ban from any profession or occupation involving regular and direct contact with minors. A 15-year restraining order prohibiting GV and RCRA from approaching or communicating with the victim is also being sought. In addition to the prison sentences, the prosecution is requesting that both defendants jointly and severally compensate the victim, AAM, with €30.000 for the moral damages caused. It should be noted that defendant GV was arrested in Munich, Germany, in August 2024, following the issuance of a European Arrest Warrant.
